Rockett Funeral Home, 24 Mar 2012
Dubberly, LA – Funeral services for John D. Brimer, 77, of Dubberly will be 
held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2 pm in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in 
Ringgold, LA with Bro. Jack Maxey officiating. Interment will follow in Little 
Hope Cemetery in Castor, LA. Visitation will start at 10 am Saturday morning 
until service time. Mr. Brimer was born November 25, 1934 in Castor, LA and 
passed away on March 22, 2012 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by 
his parents, Calvin and Katie Plunkett Brimer; two brothers and four sisters. 
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Andrea Brimer of Dubberly, LA; sons, 
Travis Brimer of Altus, OK and Johnny Brimer of Doyline, LA; daughters, Sherry 
Rush of Little Rock, AR and Sheila Branch of Shreveport, LA; sister, Polly Ann 
Griffin of Jonesboro, LA; 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host 
of other relatives and friends.
