Funeral services for Susie Mae Havard, 85, of Castor, were held Tuesday, 
August 23, 1988, at Castor Assembly of God.  Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery 
under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Ringgold. Mrs Havard passed 
away August 21 at Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport, La. She was a housewife.  
Survivors include one daughter, Katie Lou Nelson and husband, J. R. Nelson of 
Castor; three sons, Tom Neil Havard and wife, Pat, of Ringgold, W. T. Havard 
and wife, Wilma of Henderson, Tenn., and Bobby Ray Havard and wife, Dorothy of 
Bossier City; three brothers, Charlie Guin, Sr. of Castor, Bassell Guin of 
Winnfield, and Andrew Guin of Hemphill, Tx.; twenty grandchildren and sixteen 
great-grandchildren.


Additional Comments:
Susie's husband, Robert Allen Havard (28 Jul 1890 - 31 Oct 1963)is buried with 
her in New Ebenezer Cemetery, Castor LA. Her son Thomas Neil Havard married my 
mother's sister, Lucy Lea Plunkett.
