Castor, LA - Robert F. "Bob" Jinks, 77, of Castor, La. died Thursday, August 
12, 1993 at Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. Funeral services for Mr. 
Jinks will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 1993 at the New Ramah Baptist 
Church near Ashland with Rev. Cedrick Hedrick, Rev. J. H. Monk, Rev. Jeffery 
Jinks and Rev. Dwight Wesson officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer 
Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold.

Mr. Jinks was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Eunice Jinks and his 
brother, J.D. Jinks. He is survived by his wife, Vashti W. Jinks of Castor; 
two sons and their wives: Larry and Helen Jinks of Castor, La., Bo and Carol 
Jinks of Castor, La.; one brother and his wife, Allen F. and Sharon Jinks of 
Keithville, La.; two sisters, Mary E. Huff and husband, Larry of Keithville, 
La. and Mrs. Dorothy I. Peavy of Ruston, La.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Jinks of Shreveport, La. Also surviving are Mr. Jinks grandchildren: 
Michelle Reynolds and her husband Mike, and Karen Thrower and her husband, 
Allen and L. "Bo" Jinks. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; 
Valorie Reynolds, Vance Reynolds, Adam Thrower, Morgan Thrower and a number of 
nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jinks' family would like to express special thanks to Nephrology 
Associates, Dr. Richard Barnett, Shreveport Regional Dialysis Center and the 
Natchitoches Parish Dialysis Center for the care and kindness they provided 
during Mr. Jinks' illness.
