Funeral services were held for Zack A. "Buster" Kidd Sr., 76, of Gibsland, 
Louisiana, on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral 
Home Chapel in Arcadia, Louisiana, with Rev. Johnnie Adkins and Rev. Dorothy 
Smith officiating. Interment followed at the Gibsland Cemetery, with services 
under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home of Arcadia.

Mr. Kidd was born April 21, 1933, in Gibsland, Louisiana, to Clarence and 
Annie Marshall Kidd. He entered into rest on March 15, 2010, at his home in 
Gibsland. Mr. Kidd was a member of the Gibsland Methodist Church. He worked 
for L&NW Rail Road as a train engineer.

Mr. Kidd is preceded in death by two brothers: C.A. Kidd Jr. and R.L. Kidd.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jean Kidd of Gibsland, Louisiana; 
sons, Mark C. Kidd of Gibsland, Louisiana, and Zack A. Kidd and his wife Karen 
of Rhome, Texas; sister, Mary Jo Savacool of Minden, Louisiana; brother, J.L. 
Kidd of Gibsland, Louisiana; grandchildren, Zack A. Kidd III, Courtney 
Alexandra Kidd, Jyles Andrew Kidd and Justin Marshall Kidd.

Memorials may be made to the Ruston Methodist Children's Home, 901 S. Vienna 
St, Ruston, LA 71270.
