                    Mrs. Martha Ann Williams Myers

   Mrs. Martha Ann Myers, 92, Buried Near Saline

   Bienville,...Funeral services were held Tuesday at Ridge church,
near Saline, for Mrs. Martha Ann Myers, aged, 92 years, who died at
her home in Shreveport after an illiness of three years. Services
were conducted by Rev. Cleve Robinette, followed by interment in the
Ridge cemetery.

   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lula Womack of Shreveport, and
Mrs. C. E. Howington of Wisner; two sons, C. L. Myers of Shreveport,
and W. E. Myers of Portland, Ore.; Thirty grandchildren, sixty
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

   Mrs. Myers was a pioneer citizen of Bienville parish, the last
survivor of eight children. She and her husband, W. M. Myers, were
charter members of the Old Saline Baptist church. At the time of her
death she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist church of Ashland.
