Headline:  Mrs Annie Rowell

RINGGOLD -- Mrs. Annie M. Rowell, 70, died Monday in a Minden Hospital 
following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Castor Baptist 
Church with 
the Rev. Cedric Headrick and the Rev. J. D. Thompson officiating.  
Burial will be in Little Hope Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Kitty Sonnier of 
Shreveport and 
Mrs. James Davis of Arcadia; three sons, Currie and Boyd Rowell, both 
of Bienville, and Louis Rowell of Heflin, a sister, Mrs. Fannie Bray of 
Ringgold, a brother, Mangham Matthews of Castor; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-
grandchildren.


Additional Comments:
Annie MATTHEWS (25 Nov 1895 - 24 Jan 1966) was the daughter of Henry 
MATTHEWS and Susan WOOD MATTHEWS. She married John Wilson "Radio" ROWELL on 19 
Nov 1913, Bienville Parish.
