Plunkett Services Held August 19 Funeral services for Mr. Tommie Needium Plunkett, 63, of Bienville were held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 19 in the Rockett Funeral Home with the Rev. Sedric Hedrick officiating. Burial was in the Old Castor Cemetery. Plunkett was a life long resident of Bienville Parish and had served as school bus driver for the Bienville school for many years. He died Tuesday, August 17 in the Willis-Knighton Memorial Hospital in Coushatta. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Hazel Etoy Plunkett; two sons, Ronald Plunkett of Castor; J. T. Plunkett of Bossier City; two adopted sons, Kenny McBroom of Bossier City and Cliff Page of Bienville; five daughters, Mrs. Lucy West of Bossier City, Mrs. Nelwyn Hoffmeyer of Burnsville, Mn., Mrs. Mertha Culbertson of Bienville, Mrs. Hazel Sullivan and Mrs. Carol Jinks, both of Castor. Three brothers, Johnny Plunkett of Epps, Charlie Plunkett of Castor, Jarvis Plunkett of Orange, Texas; five sisters, Miss Mattie Plunkett, Mrs. Lora Blackstock, both of Hodge, Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Portland, Ind., Mrs. Lulah B. Mathews of Epps and Mrs. Giggs Margie of Quitman; 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Additional Comments: Grandpa Tommie was the son of John Michael PLUNKETT & Ada Mertha HAM. He married Hazel Etoy ROWELL on 4 Jan 1932 in Jonesboro LA.
