CASTOR, LA - Services for Hazel Etoy Plunkett, 80, will be held at 10 a.m., 
Wednesday, December 11, 1996 at Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold, La. 
Officiating will be Rev. Mike Stovall and Dr. Ralph E. West.  Burial will be 
in Old Castor Cemetery in Castor, La.  Ms. Plunkett entered into eternal rest 
Sunday, December 8, 1996 in Castor, LA at the home of her daughter and son-in-
law, Hazel and Don Sullivan.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie 
Plunkett; a daughter, Ima Grace McBroom, and a grandson and his wife, Casey 
and Barbara Plunkett. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Lucy West and her 
husband, Garland of Jefferson, Texas; Mrs. Nelwyn Hoffmeyer and her husband, 
William Edward of Jackson, Minnesota; Mrs. Mertha Culbertson of Jamestown, LA; 
Sonny Plunkett and his wife, Margaret of Karnack, Texas; Mrs. Hazel Sullivan 
and her husband, Don of Castor, LA; Ronald Troy Plunkett and his wife, Martha 
Ann of Castor, LA; and Mrs. Tommie Carol Jinks and her husband, Bo of Castor, 
LA; 26 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren 
and a host of other relatives and friends.  She also raised Cliff Page of 
Jefferson, Texas; Kenny McBroom of Bay City, Texas, and Duane Blake of Bossier 
City, LA.  Pallbearers will be Sidney Havard, Tommy Havard, Kenneth 
Culbertson, Mike Plunkett, Billy Gray, Mark Plunkett, Jason Plunkett and 
Little Bo Jinks.


Additional Comments:
Grandma Hazel Etoy Plunkett was my grandmother and the daughter of William 
Jahugh "Bill" ROWELL and Letha Lavora "Granny Bill" BULLOCK, who are also 
buried in Old Castor Cemetery, Castor LA.
