Heflin, LA - Funeral services for Boyd Rowell, 85, will be held 10 a.m. 
Friday, June 4, 2004 at Rockett Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jack Byrd will 
officiate. Interment will follow at Little Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 
held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at Rockett Funeral Home in Ringgold, 
LA.  Mr. Rowell passed away June 2, 2004. He was born October 30, 1918 in 
Bienville Parish, LA. Mr. Rowell as preceded in death by his wife, Joy Rowell 
and two brothers: Currie and Henry Rowell.  He is survived by one son, Reggie 
Rowell and wife, Evelyn of Haughton, LA; four daughters: Agnes Hay of 
Fryeburg, LA; Priscilla Hughes of Fryeburg, LA; Brenda Rowell of Fryeburg, LA 
and Linda Rowell of Fryeburg, LA; two sisters: Kitty Sonnier of Shreveport, LA 
and Lacy Davis of Arcadia, La; six grandchildren: Tammy Hill, Danny Hay, Ricky 
Hay, Billy Rowell, Roy Hughes and Anthony Hughes, 12 great grandchildren, one 
great great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. The family 
would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Ringgold Nurse Care 
Center.
