RINGGOLD, LA - Funeral services for Olie Elizabeth "Bebe" Sexton Rowell, 80, 
of Ringgold, LA, will be Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the Rockett 
Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Carl Griffith. 
Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ringgold, LA. Mrs. Rowell 
died December 30, 2006 at Minden Medical Center. She was born January 26, 1926 
in Minden, LA. She was the daughter of Robert M. Sexton, Sr. and Olie Baugh 
Sexton. She was a very loving and devoted wife to her husband, John L. Rowell. 
She was retired from Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant where she had been a 
dedicated employee for more than 32 years. She was a long time member of the 
First United Methodist Church of Minden, LA, and had attended Jamestown 
Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Adonna Sexton Carter 
and Dorothy Sexton Crossan; and a devoted husband, John L. Rowell.

Survivors include one sister, Mamie Claire Rose of Salem, OR; two brothers, 
Wayne H. Sexton of Minden, LA and Robert M. Sexton, Jr and his wife, Edna J. 
Sexton of Austin, TX; one brother-in-law, Lorris G. Carter; three daughters, 
Constance G. Pendleton of Morton, MN, Sherril L. Brown and her husband, 
Charles F. Brown of Morton, MN and Barbara P. McGuire of Minden, LA; one son 
and daughter-in-law, Bill and Debra Pendleton of McComb, MS; step-daughter, 
Barbara A. Caskey and her husband, James of Haughton, LA; three step-sons, 
Jimmy L. Rowell and his wife, Anne of Doyline, LA, Nicky Rowell of Doyline, LA 
and Robert D. Rowell of Metairie, LA; grandchildren, Michelle Lea Chrismon and 
husband, Larry, Pamela J. Ross, Donny W. Brown, Lindsay R. Pendleton, Ashley 
E. Pendleton, Julie Callihan and husband, Craig, Heather Smith, Jennifer 
Schuler and husband Keith, Hunter Caskey, Sherry Wax Nelson and husband, Jeff, 
and Billy Wax. Great grandchildren, Autumn M. Ross, Adrian Ross, Tom Chrismon, 
Dustin Cooper Thomas Puryear, Lillie Paige Callihan, Keelie Callihan, Britney 
Rowell, Julia Schulyer and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and 
friends.  

In lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to St Judes Children’s Research 
Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis Tn 38105. Rockett Funeral Home,
