DIED,
   On the 11th inst., MARY EVALINE RUTLAND, consort of J.B. Rutland, of 
Ouachita Parish, La., and daughter of Mr. Haanan and Mrs. Ann Ballance, of 
Bienville Parish, born in Yazoo county, Miss., March 12th, 1840, made 
profession of religion in `852, and became a member of the Methodist Church.  
It was but for a short time that she enjoyed the affection of a devoted 
husband, but she was prepared for and resigned to the change.  May God bless 
the bereaved husband and friends.
