Moriah Church for Mrs. Isabelle Sanders, age 61 years, who died at her home Monday, November 26, at 12:20 p.m. In the absence of her regular pastor, Rev. J. W. Mayeau, funeral services conducted by Rev. Jack Shaw, pastor of Gibsland Methodist Church. Intrement was in the Mt. Moriah cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of Norton Funeral Home of Haynesville. Pallbearers were W. E. James, Lorand Beard, W. W. Edwards, Ernest Ratcliff, R. F. Bridges, C. F. Sanders, J. L. Bailey and W. R. Allborty. Sruvivors are two sons, Truma A. And Curtis Sanders of Shreveport, two daughters, Mrs. J. D. Shepherd of Alexandria,and Mrs. E. H. Welch of Shreveport, and one brother E. C. Moore of Arcadia, one sister, Mrs. J. P. Culpepper of Oil city: seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sanders had been in ill health for some time and suffered a stroke of paralysis two weeks ago which resulted in her death. She was a lifelong resident of Union community near Arcadia, and became a member of Mt. Moriah Church in her early childhood.
