Ringgold, LA. Services for Mrs. Artie N. Smith, 69, of Ringgold, will be at 
10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 16 at Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold. Burial 
will be in Page Cemetery in Castor, LA. Mrs. Smith died Saturday June 13, 1981 
in Ringgold. She is survived by two sons, Buddy Smith of Ringgold and Roy Dale 
Smith of Elm Grove, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Inez Pierce of Bossier City, La.; 
one brother, Clyde Hay of Ringgold; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Day and Mrs. Ola 
D. Waites of Ringgold; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.


Additional Comments:
Artie was the daughter of Elige L. HAY & Martha Viola ROWELL. She married 
Elmer W. SMITH on 21 Dec 1930 in Webster Parish LA.
