CASTOR, LA - Services for Mr Dave Sullivan, 70, of Castor, will be held at 
1:30 p.m. Friday December 23 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Castor.  The 
Rev Barry Joyner, the Rev Ray Penfield, the Rev Michael Reese, the Rev Kelly 
Tingle. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery under the direction of Rockett 
Funeral Home in Ringgold, La.  Mr Sullivan died Wednesday December 21, 1988, 
at Huckabay Hospital in Coushatta, La., after a long illness.  Mr Sullivan was 
preceded in death by son, Ronald Sullivan.  He is survived by his wife, Merior 
L. Sullivan of Castor; three daughters, Pat Byrd and Beth Joyner, of Castor, 
Martha Thompson of Shreveport, La.; five sons, Donald Sullivan, Gerry 
Sullivan, Jerry Sullivan, Jack Sullivan, Barry Sullivan, all of Castor; two 
sisters, Mrs Cora Cloud and Mrs Alma Bogan, both of Castor; 20 grandchildren, 
10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.  Pallbearers will be 
Gent Sullivan, Gene Sullivan, Stanley Sullivan, D.C. Warren, David Lane 
Bumgardner and Dean Sullivan.


Additional Comments:
He and his wife, Merior Lucille BASINGER SULLIVAN (18 Sep 1922 - 7 Nov 2003),  
are buried together in New Ebenezer Cemetery, Castor LA.  They were married on 
28 Sep 1939 and the parent of my Uncle Don Sullivan, who married Hazel 
Elizabeth Plunkett.
