The Bienville Democrat, 3 Jan 1974
	Ringgold – Elmer E. Temple, 30, died Saturday in a Shreveport hospital 
following a long illness.
	Funeral services were held Sunday in the Rocket Funeral Home Chapel 
with the Rev. H. B. Abbott officiating. Burial was in the Providence Cemetery.
	Survivors include his widow; five daughters, Teresa Temple; Freddie 
Lynn Collins; Sharon Kaye Brochet, Sandra Gail Ray and Tanya Marie Temple, all 
of Ringgold; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Temple of Castor; four brothers, John 
K. Temple of Fredrick, Md., Bill Temple of Ringgold, Harvey Dale Temple of 
Jamestown and Terry Temple of Castor, five sisters, Mrs. Faye Webb of 
Fredrick, Md., Mrs. Verda Mae Rowell, Mrs. Martha Myres, and Mrs. Juanita 
Nailes, all of Castor, and Mrs. Lillian Poole of Rockville, Md.; and three 
grandchildren.
