Headline: Funeral Services Held Sat. For Bobby Thrasher

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 30 from the Pine Grove 
Baptist Church for Bobby M. Thrasher, 70, who died Friday at his home 
following a brief illness. He was stricken suddenly and died shortly after.

Officiating was the Rev. Judd Thompson. Burial under the direction of Conger 
Funeral Home was at the Ridge Cemetery.

Thrasher was born June 24, 1900, the son of H. Oliver Thrasher and Mattie 
Southern Thrasher.

He was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and was a veteran of World 
War II.

Survivors include one son, R. A. Thrasher of Homer; one grandson; two sisters, 
Mr. E. C. Head of Sarepta and Mrs. G. F. Hood of Ashland, one brother, H. T. 
Thrasher of Pine Grove.
