Services for Mrs. Hazel Gandy Wiggins, 78, of Castor, Louisiana were held 
Thursday, April 5, 2001 in the Rockett Funeral Home Chapel in Ringgold 
Louisiana, at 2:00 p.m. Officiating was Rev. Jerry Sheffield and burial was in 
Providence Cemetery in Ringgold.

Mrs. Wiggins was born February 23, 1923 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She went to 
sleep March 17, 2001 and passed away peacefully April 3, 2001 in Willis-
Knighton Bossier Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Lessie Gandy; an infant 
brother, a daughter, Judith Ann Plunkett; a grandson, K.C. Plunkett and his 
wife Barbara; and brothers-in-law, Buddy Wiggins and Wayne Sullivan.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kent Wiggins of Castor; daughters, 
Robin Hollowell and husband Jerry of Castor, and Tommie Coffey and husband 
Shelton of Ashland, Louisiana; sisters, Mary Sullivan of Shreveport, 
Louisiana, Betty Jean Masoner and husband Bob of Buckhorn, New Mexico, and 
Glenna Humbert and husband Walter of Auburn, Wyoming; sister-in-law, Syble 
Wiggins of Jamestown, Louisiana; grandchildren, Rae Bamburg and husband Bubba, 
Kerry Coleman and husband Jim, Jason Plunkett and wife Amy, Mark Plunkett and 
wife Tracey, all of Castor, Regina Owen and husband Kenny of Ashland, and Judy 
Nealy and husband Jimmy of Coushatta, Louisiana; great grandchildren, P.J. and 
Natalie Bamburg, Jill and Jessica Coleman, Jessie and Brianna Plunkett, 
Courtney and Casey Plunkett, Bobby and Sanders, and Zoee Nealy; and a host of 
special nieces and nephews.
