Brush Valley Guards, Co. H, 9th Infantry. He died July 7, 1862 in a Lynchburg, 
Virginia hospital.)  m.12/07/1851, Bienville Parish, MARGARET TRUSSELL, b.1830, 
AL, d.1901, LA.  His children were LORENZO G. COLEMAN, b.1852, AL, d.1928, LA,  
FRANCES J. COLEMAN, b.1856, GA, d. 1924, Bienville, LA, THOMAS JEFFERSON 
COLEMAN, b.12/03/1858, GA, d.12/06/1938 (09/071938), buried Union Cemetery, 
Bienville.  WILLIAM A. COLEMAN, b.1861, d. Saline La.

JAMES JACKSON COLEMAN was the eldest child of WILLIAM COLEMAN, b.1802, TN, 
d.______, m. SARAH OGDEN, b.1806, GA (parents Daniel Ogden & Mary Sapp). The 
Colemans migrated to Louisiana around 1848.  James' siblings were Nancy 
Coleman, b. 1830, AL, d. after 1866, m. Michael J. Hennigan, ca 1849, 
Bienville, LA, Millie Coleman, b. 1832 in AL, d. 1894 in Calcasieu Parish, LA, 
Hennigan Cemetery, Sirena A.. Coleman, b.05/1833, AL, m. John C. Hennigan ca 
1849 in Bienville Parish, LA, William A.. Coleman, b.1834, AL, Greenberry 
Coleman, b.1836, AL, Sarah Ardilla (Dilly) Coleman Lewter, b.1842, AL, Amanda 
(Sis) Coleman, b.1843, AL, John H. Coleman, b.1846, AL, Eugenia Coleman Vail, 
b.08/06/1849, MS, d.06/15/1929.
