Bounds Life-Long Parish Resident Dies- Services for Mr. James H. "Jim" Bounds, 83, of Mott Community, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 1, at Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Springhill. Rev. Sir Robert Nichols officiated. Burial was in Boggs Cemetery. He died Tuesday, Dec. 30 at the Community Hospital in Springhill, following a long illness. Mr. Bounds was a native and life long resident of Bossier Parish, and a retired employee of International Paper Company, after 20 years service. He was a member of Pinehill Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Gracy Lynn Bounds, one daughter: Joyce Mawby of Shreveport; Three brothers: Tom Bounds of Rocky Mount, Ben Bounds of Bossier City and Henry D. Bounds Jr. of Plain Dealing. Three sisters: Bertha Kirkland & Ita Compton, both of Shreveport and Mae Alderman of Texas; Two Granddaughters: Patricia Ann Wooldridge of Houston, Texas and Terry Lynn Runyan of Moore, Oklahoma. Pallbearers were: Jake Jordan, Howard Morgan, L.A. Johnson, Bennie Matlock, W.D. McClary & Alvin Gaston. Honorary Pallbearers were: Odell Juris & Ervin Hart.
