James May, Maternal Great Great Grandfather, Bossier Parish

Mr. James May, a well and favorably known (sic -to) citizens of this parish,
living four miles east of Red Land, committed suicide by cutting his throat on
the 2d inst. (sic).  he leaves a wife and five children to mourn his
unfortunate death.
