A lifelong resident of Plain Dealing, Mr. Morgan was an employee of International Paper Co. for 32 years and a cattleman. The funeral will be today (June 7, 1976) at 3 p.m. in Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. O. J. Owens officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary of Plain Dealing. Mr. Morgan is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alma N. Morgan; two sons, Johnny D. Morgan of Panama City, FL; and Jimmy Morgan of Plain Dealing; two daughters, Mrs. Melba Allen and Mrs. Billie Jean Thompson, both of Plain Dealing; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Shaver of Plain Dealing and Mrs. Nellie O'Donald of Shreveport; two brothers, R. B. Morgan of Plain Dealing and Johnny Morgan of Forest City, Ark., and eight grandchildren. --
