Elwood D. Morgan 



Plain Dealing - Elwood D. Morgan, 80, died Thursday after a lengthy illness. 



He was a retired farmer. 



Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Chalybeate Springs 

Baptist Church with the Rev. O. J. Owens officiating.  Burial will be in the 

church cemetery under the direction of Bailey Mortuary. 



He is survived by his widow; three sons, R. B. Morgan and Blanchard Morgan, 

both of Plain Dealing, Johnny Morgan of West Memphis, Ark; two daughters, 

Mrs. Stella Shaver of Plain Dealing, Mrs. Nellie O'Donnell of Shreveport; 14 

grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. 



Pallbearers will be Elbert Watkins, Vernon Malone, Odell Malone, Wilburn 

Malone, Buck Covington and Frank Covington.
