-Thursday, 29 November 1917-



Mr. Jasper Burgess Shaver, a resident of the Midway community, 

died Sunday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. George 

Hammett. He was 35.  The cause of death being due to diabetes.  



Jasper was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wade Shaver, both deceased.  

The interment followed Monday at the Linton Cemetery.  His 

illness dates back for some time, and for about a year past, 

he has been unable to do heavy physical labor.
