Stinson died at Red Chute plantation, of ward 2, this parish, on last Monday at 8 o'clock; aged 34 years. Mr. Stinson was a son of R. T. Stinson, deceased, for many years a well-known prominent citizen and planter in this parish. He was a native of Bossier Parish and had many warm friends here where he grew up to manhood. He was manly, brave, just and true. The kindest and most loyal of friends - with a warm and unselfish heart for all - always a strong and earnest champion for the right and ever ready to help where help was needed. Deceased leaves a mother, sister, three brothers, other relatives and many friends to mourn his death. --
