Young- Mr. Seaborn H. Young of the Linton Community, whose failing condition was mentioned in the issue of the Banner for June 5th. died at his home Tuesday night. The intermet following yesterday in Linton Community. Mr. Young was 84 years of age, and his death is said to be due to senility, rather than illness. He was a Confederate Veteran, and during the days of the bloody struggle between the North and the South was a member of Company "B", Mark's Guards, 28th. Louisiana Regiment Mouton's Brigade. During his three years of service he gained a reward as a fearless and gallant soldier. As a citizen he was unpretentious, industrious and of unsullied integrity. The youth of the community in which he resides would do well to long cherish in mind the moral reclitude of his daily life. It can be safely said that a good and useful citizen has passed away. So far as we are informed, he is survived by only 5 immediate relatives. They are two brothers: Reuben Warner Young & Perry Warren Young, and three sons: Robert Eli Young, Seaborn "Tobe" YOUNG & Joshua Daniel Young, all residents of this Parish.
