The following was written by Virginia T. Rudder and placed in the bible of William Samuel and Fannie Moore Dupre's Family Bible.
John H. Rudder was Born March 27, 1810. *Miriam Turner was Born Oct. 11, 1810, wife of J. h. rudder. John H. Rudder departed this 
life Sept 17, 1868. Miriam Rudder departed this life Dec. 25, 1863. William E. Rudder Departed this life in (the) year 1862 I don't remember the 
he got killed in the armie of confedercy fighting the yankies. V. T. Dupre.**Alexander Rudder was Born Apr. 3, 1835.***William E. Rudder 
was Born Nov. 28, 1838.****Virginia T. Rudder was Born May 3, 1841. Benjamin J. Rudder was Born June 18, 1844. Texanner*****Rudder
 was Born May 30, 1850. Samuel G.Dupre was____________Mary J. Dupre was Born Dec. 20, 1861 Caddo Parish, La.
Miriam E. Dupre was Born Oct. 3, 1864 Caddo Parish, La. William S. Dupre was Born Nov 29, 1866 Caddo Parish, La. Peter Hamland 
Dupre was Born Oct 27, 1868 Caddo Parish, La. and Departed this life Oct. 11, 1872.  He was 3 years 11m 15 days. Anna Alice Dupre 
was Born Feb. 2, 1871 Caddo Parish, La. and married to J. D. Moore in the year 1888 Apr. 14. Samuel G. Dupre was Born Jan 21, 1835.
Samuel G. Dupre and Virginnie Rudder was married Nov 29, 1860 in Caddo Parish, La. and moved to Texas Aug. 23, 1874.
