Franklin S. and Helen Newman Alford, residents of Caddo Parish, adopted a 
"foundling" on January 21, 1928.  The child was born January 25, 1927.  She
was left with Mrs. Adah Vinson Delay(?).  The child was named Elizabeth Rae
Alford by her adoptive parents.
