Funeral services for Roy Johnson 55, of 305 Hunter Street, Bossier City, who died in a local sanitarium Thursday morning ofinjuries received when hew ws struck by an automobile wednesday morning, will be held at the Wellman Funeral home at 3PM today with teh Rev. R.L. Holmes officiating, Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery. Johnson died of injuries received wed. morning when he was struck by an automobile on the minden road, about five miles east of shreveport. Mr. Johnson, an E.R.A. worker stepped from behind a parked truck adn into the path of an automobile driven by J.F Hall, employee of a bossier city lumber company. Dr. J.B. Hall, bossier parish coroner, pronounced it an "unavoidable accident." Johnson is survived by his widow and eight children; Robert Johnson of Dallas, and Mr.s Joe Hilliard, Mrs. J.E. Byas and Mrs. Hall Thomas of Shreveport and four small children.
