Abitt, James W.--The Times, Jan. 5, 1951
     Vivian--Jan. 4 (special) James W. Abbitt, 61, died today after a lengthy illness.  
An oil field employee, he had been a resident of Oil City for 30 years.
     Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Saturday at the Oil City Christian Church with 
the Rev. A. Reed officiating.  Burial under the direction of the Hanner Funeral Home of Vivian,
will be in the Vivian Cemetery.  
     Suviviors include three brothers, J. W. Abitt of Oil City, W. M. Abitt of Norphlet, Ark., and
A. F. Abitt of Forest Park, Illinois.
