January 27, 1997, at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel with Chip Dickey officiating. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Ave. Funeral home visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 1997. Mrs. Alexander, an employee with Barksdale Federal Credit Union, died Thursday, January 23, 1997, in Shreveport. She was a native resident of Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Alexander; one son, Robert "Glen" Alexander; father, Jim Dickey and her Brother, Jimmy Dickey. She is survived by one son, Gary Alexander and wife, Carla of Shreveport; her mother, Barbara Dickey and Sister, Nora Strange, both of Marshall, Texas; grandchildren; Andrea and Amber Alexander, Nathan, Courtney, Cole and Paul Loggins, all of Shreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: James Clifton, Sr., James Clifton, Jr., Jimmy Dickey, John Loggins, Nathan Loggins and James Ott.
