(Sonny) Bradford, 60, of the old Panola Community in Panola County, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 at Panola Baptist Church off of FM #2517 with Rev. Robert Bagley officiating. Interment will be in the Panola Baptist Church Cemetary. Arrangements are under the direction of Don Lipsey Funeral Home of Carthage, TX.Mr. Bradford died Tuesday morning, Oct. 20, 1998 at his residence. He was born in Depew, OK on September 11, 1938. He was the son of Red and Ocie Hay. He and Moly Johnson were married in Panola County, TX on November 22, 1983. Mr. Bradford served in the United States Marine Corps and was a security officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice System. Moving from Shreveport, LA he had lived in Panola Coutny since 1975. Mr. Bradford was a member of Panola Baptist Church. His is survived by his wife, Molly Bradford of the Panola Comunity; his parents, Red and Ocie Hay of Shreveport; one son and daughter-in-law, Bubba and Tracey Bradford of Sulphur, LA; two daughters and son-in-law, Ann and PaulRobertson of Stonewall, LA, Ellen Guyton of Lafayette, LA; three step-sons and daughters-in-law, David Bagley of Shreveport, Robert and Debra Bagley of the Panola Community, Richard and Merry Bagley of the Deadwood Community; two brothers, Charles Bradford of Stonewall, LA, James Hay of Elysian Fields, TX; two sisters, Aline Jones of Bossier City, Tammy Miller of Shreveport and fourteen grandchildren.
