Officiating will be Apostle Cornell Hamilton. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home. Family hour will be 7 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2000 at Winnfield Funeral Home. Mr. Coleman died at 4 p.m., Tuesday, February 15th at L.S.U. Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a native of Shreveport and a resident of Bossier City. Mr. Coleman was a member of From Bondage to Freedom Outreach Ministries. Survivors are his wife, Redine Coleman; son, Roy Lee Coleman, Jr. of Bossier City, LA; mother, Mattie Louis, Monroe, LA; step-father, Hilton Louis, Monroe, LA; brothers, Frankie Coleman, Shreveport, LA, Cornell Hamilton, Shreveport, LA, Eddie Hamilton, Shreveport, LA; and sister, Brenda Louis, Monroe, LA. Barry Stephens of Huntington Park Church of the Nazarene where Mrs. Mahoney was a loving member. Interment will follow at Centuries Memorial Park. She entered into rest on February 14, 2000 after an extended illness. Mrs. Mahoney was a life long resident of Shreveport that served as a Sunday School office worker at her church as well as a delegate to conventions, committee member, and registrar for the Annual District Layman's Retreat. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Frances McGowan Tiemann. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, James E. Mahoney; daughter, Rhonda Bryant and husband, Jay of Shreveport, LA; sons, Bryan Mahoney and wife, Stephanie of Mt. Vernon, OH and Dennis Mahoney and wife, Angie of Shreveport, LA; father, Elwood Edwin Tiemann of Shreveport; sister, Mary Lou Lloyd and husband, Harvey of Lawnton, Queensland Australia; brothers, Chris Tiemann and wife, Jean of Denver, CO and Charles Henry Tiemann and wife, Becky of Harvey, LA. Visitation will be held at Gross from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 17. Officiating will be Dr. David Smith and Chaplain Pamela Raines, of Central Baptist Church in Hot Springs where Mrs. Campbell was a member for many years. She is currently a member of Northwoods Baptist Church in Shreveport. Mrs. Campbell was a native and long time resident of Hot Springs. She taught at the old Rix School and Hot Springs High School. She received her B.A. and M.A. degrees from Henderson State University and also attended Ouachita Baptist and the University of Arkansas. She died in Shreveport, Louisiana of pneumonia and congestive heart failure. Mrs. Campbell was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Joseph W. Campbell and their son, Dennis Campbell. She is survived by two sons, Garry W. Campbell and wife, Lynn of Westlake Village, CA and Joel S. Campbell and wife, Pat of Brooklyn, New York; one daughter, Susan Reid and husband, Lamar of Shreveport, LA; seven sisters, Bette Allison of Savanna, IL, Charlene Welson of Troy, AL, Marian Henderson and Pat Johnson both of Hot Springs, Barbara Halbert of Nashville, TN, Betty Jean Leach and Jackie Olson, both of Ocala, FL; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, February 18, 2000 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. She entered into rest on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at the IHS Pierremont Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Roberts was a native of Mansfield, LA and lived in Baton Rouge for 18 years before moving to Shreveport in 1973. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Ernest H. Roberts. She is survived by a host of loving family members including her son, Harold L.
