He was born on November 17, 1935 in Belford, N.J., parents, William Bailey and Dorothy Naughton Bailey. Mr. Bailey was Catholic and was a retired Army Veteran E7 with 21 years of service He is survived by his wife, Frances Joyce Williams Bailey of Shreveport, LA; daughter, Debra Word of Hampton, AR; brothers, William E. Percy's love for life, living and singing penetrated the hearts of many via the radio waves, in the early 60s, on KANB, now known as KOKA. His listeners knew him as "Ark-La-Tex Jump." His memory will be cherished by his wife, Carrie G.
