Fayee S. Carothers

Fayee S. Carothers, born May 21, 1909, in Staff, Texas to Tom and Leona 
Satterfield. Fayee went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2007.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday September 21, 2007 in the chapel of 
Lakeview Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Schulik of Mobberly Baptist Church officiating. 
Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Shreveport Louisiana.

She and Laurence and their children moved from Lampassas, Texas to Houston and in 
1958 moved to Shreveport, Louisiana.

They loved and served the Lord together at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport. 
She moved to Longview in 1991, and was a faithful Christian at Mobberly Baptist Church.

She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She loved them all dearly and she 
was cherished by them as well.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Carothers and a son Charles Carothers.

She is survived by 3 children; Patricia Stout and her husband George of Bruceville, Texas, 
Larry Carothers and his wife Jean of Longview, Rose Evans of Longview, daughter in law; 
Pat Carothers, 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 sisters in law; Vera Satterfield of
Florence, Texas and Ruth Carroll of Lampasses and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends fro 5pm until 7pm Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence Carothers and a son Charles Carothers
