W. Clark, at their home on Byaou Bourdeaux. The deceased sacrificed her life in the birth of her child, leaving a baby boy as a token of her presence in absence. Mr. Clark was born in Harrison county, Texas, as was 19 years of age. She married Mr. Clark in Shreveport seventeen months ago and has a large circle of warm friends in that city. In the early bloom of her rich womanhood she has passed away. She has left sweet memories of her sunny and happy disposition. Her presence carried human sunshine with it. She was a devoted daughter, a loving wife and a splendid helpmate to those around her. She was greatly beloved. Her widowed mother of Jonesville, Tex., besides other relatives, were present to do all that human effort could accomplish to relieve her sufferings. A large concourse of neighbors attended the funeral yesterday afternoon, while sobs adn tears attested teh sorry of bereaved relatives adn friends adn teh esteem in which she was held. She sleeps in peace and the halo of her short earthly career lingers in teh hearts of those who knew her best and loved her most. Additional Comments: Tessie (Jones) Clark gave birth to Son Edward Tessie Clark on November 4, 1904.
