Officiating will be Reverend Harrell Sheldon and Brother James Hill. Visitation will be held at Wellman Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 1, 2000. Interment will be at Forest Park West Cemetery. Mrs. Boyter, 83, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2000 at the Guest House following a short illness. She was a resident of the Blanchard-Mooringsport area for over 35 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Blanchard. Mrs. Boyter was a loving Christian mother who was devoted to the Lord, her family and friends. Mrs. Boyter is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dennis Clayton Boyter and daughter, Elizabeth Trouth. She is survived by three sons, Wayne Boyter and wife, Lynda of Blanchard, LA, Clayton Boyter and wife, Mattie of Shreveport, LA and W. E. "Dub" Boyter and wife, Susann of Benton, LA; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staffs of The Hospice & Guest House. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Blanchard Building Fund or the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
