Shreveport, LA - Graveside services for Mrs. Holleman, age 89, of Shreveport 
will be held at Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent Ave. at 10:00 a.m., 
Thursday, June 19, 2003. Officiating will be Dr. Edward R. Thomas, retired 
pastor, Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Arrangements under the direction of 
Aulds Funeral Home, Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Holleman died at Grace Home in 
Shreveport on Wednesday, June 18, 2003, after a brief illness. She was a 
native of Caldwell Parish, a resident of Shreveport and was a member of 
Broadmoor Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, 
Frank L. Holleman; second husband, George Fisher; son, Larry Holleman; 
brother, Norman Simpson; and niece, Norma Grace Allen. Mrs. Holleman is 
survived by her daughter, Helen Anne Holleman Smith; three granddaughters; 
Dana Smith Harper and husband, Jim; Lila Smith Cook and husband, Joe; Laura 
Smith Gooszen and husband, Michael and two grandsons, Trey Holleman and 
Michael Holleman. She is also survived by four great grandchildren. Mrs. 
Holleman received her registered nurse's degree at Shreveport Charity 
Hospital, School of Nursing. She was an excellent basketball player. She 
played at Grayson High School and with her nursing school team, which won a 
state championship. She was also a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother 
and great-grandmother. A special thanks to her niece and nephew, Kay Holleman 
Sallee and Bob Holleman for their care and concern. Aulds Funeral Home, (318)
