Grant, USAF (Ret.), 77, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1998. Mr. Grant was preceded in death by his second wife, Mrs. Jettie Grant; parents, Steven E. and Bertha Grant; and two brothers, Steven and Jet Grant. Although there are no immediate family members surviving Mr. Grant, he has an extended family which he leaves behind to cherish his memory. Survivors include, his first wife, Mrs. Eleanor Grant; brother-in-law, James A. Sanders and wife, Alice of Shreveport, LA; sister-in-law, Mary S. Patton of DeSoto, TX and numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside services will be held in the Hill Cret Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998 at 2 p.m. with military honors provided by BAFB honor guard. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
