Dallas Morning News, 15 January 1912
Jouannet - Shreveport, La., Jan. 14 - Rev. Victor Jouannet, aged 84, chaplain 
at the Shreveport Memorial Sanitarium a number of years, died in that 
institution. The funeral will be held at Grand Coteau, near Lafayette, where 
he formerly was connected with St. Charles school. The deceased priest was 
born in France, but came to America about 1848 and was connected with a number 
of Catholic institutions.
