DORIS GOGGANS JOHNSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Goggans Johnson, 86, of Cotton Valley 
will be held at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998 at the Bailey 
Mortuary Chapel in Springhill, LA with Rev. Frank DeLoach afficiating, 
assisted by Rev. Joe Windham.  Burial will be in the Cotton Valley 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Johnson, a native of Herbine, AR and a resident of this area for 50 
years passed away suddenly Sunday, Nov. 1, 1998 in Springhill, LA.  She 
was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leslie Johnson on 
March, 18, 1966.

She is survived by daughters, Wanda Johnson Stinson and her husband 
Buddy and Joan Leslie Johnson, all of Cotton Valley; son, Harokd Wayne 
Johnson and his wife Ruth of Minden, LA; grandchildren Waynette 
Ballengee and her husband James, Thonda Elizabeth Legg and her husband 
David, Constance Leigh Madden and her husband David; great 
grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Sandefur, Morgan Stinson Ballengee, 
Matthew David Madden, James William Madden, Caroline Hope Madden, Olivia 
Elizabeth Legg, Adrienne Victoria Legg and John David Legg.
