Johnson, Jr. D.C., age 76 will be held at 1pm Monday, February 19, 1996 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Fussell, Pastor of the First Assembly of God Church of Vivian, LA. Burial will be in Forest Park West. Visitation will be from 2pm until 10pm Sunday at teh funeral home. Dr. Johnson, a resident of Oil City for the past 15 years, died on Friday, February 16, 1996 at 5:30pm at Willis-Knighton Medical Center after an injury. He was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and was a retired Chiropractor. Dr. Johnson was a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Vivian, Louisiana. Past president of the Oil City Rotary Club, an active member of the LA and the American Chiropractors Association, and a Lobbist for the LA license Board of Chiropractors from 1952-1957 and veteran of the US Army, WWII. Dr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Johnson, Sr., and Lula Belle Johnson, Brother, Dr. Walter Allen Fletcher, Gransdon, Robert Welch, Jr., and a son-in-law Patrick D. Wilkins.
