Officiating will be Dr. Pat Day, pastor of First United Methodist Church. Privaet graveside service will follow. Mr. Law died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998 at Schumpert Medical Center. He was born in Ponchatoula, LA and was retired as an employment counselor with the Louisisana State Employment Service. He enjoyed retirement and doing volunteer work for the good of his community. James will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. Survivors include his wife, Jame Desoto Law of Shreveport, LA; daughters, Karen Law Soileau and husband, Steve of Shreveport, LA and Krista Law Gaston and husband, Jack of Franklin, TN; sisters, Mary Law Moody and husband, Kennon of LaGrangeville, NY and Sarah Law Morris of Phoenix, AZ; brother, John Paul Law of Bossier City, LA and eight grandchildren.
