"MICKEY" MCGUIRE) Services for Nadean (Mrs. T. W. "Mickey" McGuire), 88, will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 1998 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Ray Boswell of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Monday, October 26, 1998 at the International Order of Odd Fellows Cemetary, Norman, OK. Visitation will be from 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998 until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. McGuire, homemaker, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 in Shreveport. She was born in Norman, OK, was a former resident of Cotton Valley, LA and had resided in Shreveport for 51 years. Mrs. McGuire was a member of Highland Baptist Church for fifty years. She was also a member of the First Baptist church, a past member of the Shreveport Country Club, Petroleum Club, Women's Department Club, Petrol and numerous other organizations. Nadean's father (W. D. LaMar) made the "Run" in 1889 into Oklahoma Territory and settled South of Norman where he raised his family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. T. W. "Mickey" McGuire; daughter, Dorothy Elzbeth McGuire; and her parents, W. D. and Della LaMar. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Dyess and her husband, James of Shreveport, LA; granddaughters, Dixie George and her husband, Don of Irving, TX, and Annette Dyess of French Settlement, LA; grandson, Mickey Olmstead and his wife, Donna of Austin, TX; great-grandsons, Thomas and Tyler George and Austin Olmstead; sisters-in-law, Mildred LaMar, Norman, OK, Mary Margaret Hammond and her husband, Dean of Memphis, TN; and Elizabeth McGuire, Tyler, TX; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends Tim Horton and Florida Musgrove.
