Morris (Lydia Mae Fossier) Shreveport, LA- Mrs. Lydia Mae Fossier Morris, 75, died on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Christus Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. Mrs. Morris was born on May 24, 1932 to Rosita Girbal Fossier and Emile Joseph Fossier in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart, attended Sophie Newcomb College, and was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Irma Claire Fossier Langford, brother, Emile J. Fossier, Jr., and her very special niece, Patricia Ann Langford Crane. She is survivied by her beloved husband, Glenn Bradstreet Morris, her step-son, Glenn Bradstreet Morris, Jr., and wife, Laura, and her step-daughter, Arlena R. Morris, all of New Orleans. Other suvivors include her niece, Susan Marie Langford Meekins, and husband, Hal and nephew, Richard Bennett Langford, Jr., and wife, June, all of Shreveport; her great-nephews, Jay, Lang, and Bob Wardlaw, Jeffrey and Jason Crane and Ben and Brian Langford and her great-niece, Claire Langford. A memorial service for Mrs. Morris was held in Shreveport at Osborn Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 8, 2007. At a later date, a memorial service will be held in New Orleans.
