LOUISE TURK PHILLIPS

Services for Mrs. Louise Turk Phillips, 69, will be held at 10 a.m., 
Saturday, Oct. 24, 1998 at the Bailey Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Rick 
Dowden officiating.  Burial will be in the Old Sarepta Cemetery.

Mrs. Phillips, a native of Village, AR and a residen to Springhill since 
1985, passed away after a short illness Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998 in 
Springhill.  She was baptist and a homemaker.  She was preceded in death 
by a son, Tommy Joe Phillips on January 30, 1998.

She is survived by her husband, who whom she had celebrated their 50th 
Wedding Anniversary on April 17, 1998, W. R. "Buddy" Phillips; sons, 
Kenny Phillips of Shongaloo, LA and Steven Phillips and his wife, Lisa 
of Village, AR' grandchildren, Ginny Phillips and Josh Nations; 
daughter-in-law, Donna Phillips the wife of Tommy Joe Phillips of 
Sarepta; sisters, Alice Magota of Longview, TX, Christine Taylor of 
Arlington, TX and Donna Kuykendall of Texarkana, AR.
