SON OF MARION A. DAVIS
DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

Robert "Bobby" Marion Davis, 7-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion A. Davis,
1607 Claiborne Avenue, died at 5:45 p. m. yesterday at a local hospital
after a brief illness.

The small boy was a student at St. Vincent's academy. He became ill a few
days ago and his condition grew worse until his death yesterday.

Complete funeral arrangements were not available last night. A rosary will
be said at 8 o'clock to night at the Rose-Neath funeral home by the Rev.
John j. Druhan, of St. John's Catholic church.

In addition to the parents, survivors include a brother, Johnny Davis,
Shreveport; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Davis, Shreveport;
the maternal grandmother, Mrs. J. F. Quinn, Omaha, Neb.

Davis is the owner of the Shreveport Music store, which will be closed
Monday and Tuesday.
