Dennis C. Robinson
SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Dennis C. Robinson, 66, will be held at 10 a.m., 
Thursday, November 15, 2000 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will 
be Rev. Bill Kincaid, associate pastor of Baptist Tabernacle. Assisted by Rev. 
Mike McLaurin of Monroe, LA and Rev. Tommy Allen, pastor of Westside Baptist 
Church. Burial will be in Forest Park West Cemetery.
  The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the 
funeral home.
  Mr. Robinson died Sunday, November 12, 2000 after a sudden illness. He was 
born in Robinson, LA and had resided in Shreveport since 1955. Mr. Robonson 
was an Associate Director of Warehousing for Piggly Wiggly Operation. He was a 
member of Westside Baptist Church.
  He was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Robinson and brother, David 
Robinson.
  Survivors are his wife, Jean Robinson of Shreveport, LA; mother, Odessa 
Johnson of Delhi, LA; son, Charles Robinson and his wife Kim and 
granddaughter, Cassidy of Bryant, AR; daughter, Diana Gwinn and husband, Roy 
of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Delores Tharpe of Delhi, LA and DeEtte Copes of 
Warden, LA; brother Donald Robinson of Vicksburg, MS; numerous nieces, 
nephews, cousins and many close friends.
  Pallbearers will be Jerry Emerson, Gregg King, Richard Lopez, Sr., Richard 
Lopez, Jr., Jason Lopez, Ronnie McGraw, Darrel McClure and David McClure.
  Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Burney, Bill Green, Leland Gwinn, Jr., Buddy 
Keim, Robert W. McGraw, Dave Nelson and Alvin Rogers.
  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at any Bank One of 
Louisiana Branch or Westside Baptist Church Youth Fund.
