Randy Murphy officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Baily Mortuary, Springhill. Mrs. Rodgers, a native of Tupelo, AR and a resident of Cullen for 60 years, passed away Sunday, Nov. 8, 1998 in Little Rock after a long illness. She was a faithful member of Walnut Road Baptist Church where she taught the Ruth Sunday School Class for many years. She was active in the church choir. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker and was preceded in death by three sisters, Lily Edwards, Jean Greenlee and Mary Moss. She is survived by her husband of 62 years C. W. Rodgers of Cullen; daughters and sons-in-law, Ellen and Bobby Johnson of McGehee, AR, Martha and Al Gonzales of Arlington, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, Woodrow and Sarah Rodgers of Baker, LA, Jack Rodgers of Baton Rouge, LA' Roy an dBetty Rodgers of Texarkana, TX; sister, Thelma Foster of Plain Dealing; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Woody Rodgers, Chuch Johnson, Lynn Rodgers, Wally Johnson, Dewayne Rodgers, Robbie Rodgers, and Allen Rodgers.
