ROPPOLO Mrs. Carlo Roppolo, 71, 515 Eagan, a native of Italy and resident of Shreveport for 50 years, died Thursday afternoon in Schumpert Sanitarium following a long illness. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Blessed Sacrament Society. Funeral Services were held in St. John's Catholic Church. The Rev. Joseph Susi of Mansfield, the Rev. J.J. McCarthy, S.J. and the Rev. James McAneny, S.J., officiated. Burial: Forest Park Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday in Osborn Chapel. Survivers: her husband Carlo P. Roppolo, Sr.; 5 daughters, Mrs. M.C. Richardson, Mrs. Tony J. DeFatta, Mrs. A.C. Cefalu and Mrs. George Como, all of Shreveport; and Mrs. Neil J. Huckabay, Bossier City; 5 sons, Joseph P. Angelo, Leon F., Nickey J. and Carl P. Roppolo Jr., all of Shreveport; 4 sisters, Mrs. Leon Candella, Mrs. Wess Candella, Mrs. Anthony Fulco and Mrs. Lena Guarisco, all of Shreveport; 24 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers: A.C. Cefalu, George Como, Tony J. Defatta, Carl M. Richardson, William G. Melson and Francis R. Lewis.
