Schwab for 58 years, entered into rest Sunday, June 27, 1999, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Schwab was the daughter of Charles Edward and Maude A. Stinson Boyter. On June 5, 1941, she was married to Mr. Schwab. Mrs. Schwab was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, principally interested in her home and family. She was an ardent Christian who taught Sunday School for many years. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the American Business Women's Association, She was well-respected and loved by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, June 29, 1999 in the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Marshall Street Chapel with Rev. Jim brooks and Rev Rocky Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery on St. Vincent Avenue. Funeral home visitation will be from 7 PM until 9 PM Monday at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 1815 Marshall Street. Mrs. Schwab is survived by three children, Cathy Schwab Taylor and her husband Charles, Kenneth A. Schwab and his wife Barbara, and Bettye Schwab Mitchell and her husband Chris; two sisters, Katie Boyter Nelson of Lake Charles, LA and Lin Boyter LaMar of Elm Grove, LA; one brother Albert A. Boyter and his wife Lucille of Elm Grove; five grandchildren, Gary W. McCoy, Sheri McCoy Flores, Trey Mitchell, Jeffrey M. Schwab, Stephen D. Schwab, and seven great-grandchildren; and dearest friends, Lou and Isaac Mitchell. Pallbearers will be Gary W. McCoy, Isaac Mitchell, Trey Mitchell, Bob Green, Doug McCoy, Mike Flores, and Chad Coffelt. Honorary pallbearers will be Stephen Schwab and Jeffrey Schwab. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71106.
